In the 1950s, the sons of Ole Hansen, Walter and Haubert, worked side by side expanding the family business. At the same time, they began to purchase significant amounts of real estate. Their attention turned to abandoned property that was sold at tax sales; hence, they accumulated a considerable quantity of raw land in Atlantic County. Their keen insight served the Company well as property values increased and presented new and exciting business opportunities. Under Roger Hansen's leadership, the Ole Hansen & Sons management team continued to expand the business with a primary focus on real estate development.

Today, Ole Hansen & Sons remains active in managing property throughout Atlantic County. The Company maintains numerous tracts of land in Galloway, Egg Harbor and Hamilton Townships, New Jersey, which they continue to subdivide and market to builders, developers and individuals alike. Vacant land in various areas of the county that is zoned commercial/industrial is available for sale or development. Ole Hansen & Sons stands ready to "build to suit" for leasing purposes. At the present time, Ole Hansen & Sons manages, maintains, or leases twelve commercial properties for area businesses.

In keeping with the core values of the Company, Ole Hansen & Sons has donated parcels of land to charitable and civic organizations, demonstrating its commitment to the community. In addition, the Company maintains a significant amount of vacant land as Open Space and Conservation Land.
